Good point drone strikes are cowardly; but stealth bombers, cruise missiles and "Shock and Awe" are tactics of the brave!

The cool thing about Pakistan is that they secretly held Osama Bin Laden in a house
for us. We wanted his capture to be low profile ya know.

            sure was ...

President Barack Obama's planned counterterrorism speech was temporarily derailed several times on Thursday when activist Medea Benjamin shouted criticisms of the administration's use of drones and operation of the Guantanamo Bay detention camp.

Or Iraq, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen. All victims of US drone strikes.

                You are incorrect.

The Afghan Mujahideen was a loose term for hundreds of organizations and groups that fought to evict the Russians. Al Qaeda was never in charge of anything there; It was one group of out of hundreds and was created late in the game.

I've never heard of us supporting Al Qaeda in Libya. However, with that said, it's a strange world, and Al Qaeda is no longer "one group" but instead multiple groups in dozens of countries, all with different aims and goals. Al Qaeda in Afghanistan is trying to kill US servicemen, Al Qaeda in Pakistan is planning the next terrorist attack in the US or Europe, while Al Qaeda in Syria is trying to get US help to over throw the government there. The enemy of our enemy is our friend. I don't know anything about Al Qaeda in Libya, but one would imagine at a certain point our goals were similar - to remove Gaddafi - and it's entirely possible that Al Qaeda received some kind of support from the Western world. It obviously benefited because Gaddafi is no longer in power.

He stopped and let her have her say. More gracious than most POTUS' would be, I'd say. She likely never would have even gotten into see a G. W. Bush speech, for example, let alone be allowed to have the floor.

Al Qaeda is the name of the database the CIA used to track said Mujahideen fighters. Osama was one of said fighters and frontman for said CIA operation.

U.S.-Approved Arms for Libya Rebels Fell Into Jihadis’ Hands

The Obama administration secretly gave its blessing to arms shipments to Libyan rebels from Qatar last year, but American officials later grew alarmed as evidence grew that Qatar was turning some of the weapons over to Islamic militants, according to United States officials and foreign diplomats.

And so far as Pakistan is concerned, well, they can suck my left nut. They are barely in control of their own country, and half of their government is openly supporting terrorists. When the government and or their intelligence agencies don't like who is running for election, they either kill them outright or imprison them. Fucking Bin Laden was hiding right next to a military base - surprise!

Fuck Pakistan. Hard. With a horse cock.
