Hey Guys, First post here on GFY and first of all I would like to say that this forum kicks ass, I have set up a new blog JustCelebz Dot Kom and couldn't have done it without reading this forum! The problem I have is I started building the blog maybe 2 weeks ago and I have been using Stumbleupon, DoFollow Blogs and expired domain names to pull traffic, I also get some organic traffic from SE's. I have signed up with 2 affiliate programs MrSkinCash and Crakrevenue. So far Ive had 27,000+ Pageveiws and have not made a coin! Not one single conversion! Am I doing something wrong? Is the blog shit? Should I keep updating it and adding content, Sell it or just chuck it in the fucking bin lol You Decide!
Here is a list of domain names that have lots of traffic running to them that I have just redirected to the blog incase anyone thinks they are worth something.

Hey there. Thanks for signing up. I just spoke with James and looked at your account. To be fair you have only started sending a decent amount of clicks about a week ago and the total clicks is still very modest. Keep working with him and give it some time. We need to test landing pages and different content on your site. I will reach out to you myself as well to make some suggestions.

Thanks alot mate it is appreciated. I was redirecting alot of my domain names straight to Mr Skin and as I wasn't converting I switched them back to my blog but I might switch them back again soon and just mess about and try work things out to start getting conversions.

I tried to sign up with Vivid to promote their site too as I seen on Google that alot of people are searching that new teen mom sex tape but it seems that their is a problem with their system and they are not sending out activation emails neither are they letting me sign in. You know, in all reality, if more people made posts like this, and more people didn't shit all over the OP then this board would move in a good direction again.. and so would this industry..

Agreed mate I couldn't put it better myself! I must say that all the guys from Mr Skin have been amazing in giving me feedback when setting up my blog. I posted on another British forum the other day asking the same question as this post and all I got was shit from posters saying the blog is the worst blog ever lol I would've took their opinions and criticism and used it in a constructive way to better my blog but it appears that 9/10 of people was just jealous that I've got the balls to try something out and ask the general population which way I should go to grow my business. I think its sad that people ask for help and then get shit all over by jealous posters, If we all chuck in our two cents then the online world of forums would be a better place for sure!

As long as you are posting using the tools Vivid provides in their affiliate program you will be fine. Just follow their terms and it should work well for you. You need to jump on these things right when they launch. You still have time to capitalize on it but they do lose steam after a while.

I've tried to login to vivid and its saying that my logins not found. I have emailed the manager to sort it out. What do you guys think about advertising gambling sites? I know most people say not to but I noticed one of my main competitors advertises gambling sites at the bottom of his site.

What do you guys think about buying expired domains with high PR and pointing them to your main domain? Would this increase PR for the main domain or would the famous Google Penguin fuck it up? I usually buy expired domains focusing on high traffic rather than PR but it seems that everyday PR becomes more important to survive in the online world.

I know i'm rattling on in this thread guys its just Ive put alot of time into the blog and really want to make it successful! Does anyone have any thoughts on using gambling affiliates on adult related blogs? My main competitor uses casino affiliates at the bottom of his site and I often wonder how it converts. Most gambling affiliates wont go near adult content, Do you know any who do?? Cheers Guys!

Alright man, take a deep breath & step back for a minute.

First off you've got to educate yourself a little more on blog design & marketing. You can't just set up a generic Wordpress installation, vomit a bunch of affiliate celeb pics on it, and expect sales to just roll in. Because they never will.

The whole point of a blog is to have original (and ideally, "quality") text content along with the images so that 1. the SEs will pick you up, and 2. Surfers will bookmark your site and return to possibly purchase down the road.

You need to learn how to write up decent entries and ideally how to visually design it so it's got some personality rather than the generic spammy looking think it is now. I say this not to slag you off, it's just how things work. You need to deliver some kind of quality or unique experience that the surfer's looking for because 10,000 other dudes have already posted more or less what you have up, and they get 1000x more traffic than you.

Look around at some celeb sites that you personally enjoy, try to figure out what works for them & emulate it.
