I'm not going to go all conspiracy and say it was some MK Ultra shenanigans, that's for Johnny, and he's not back yet, but this event was truly strange.
They kill one guy, specifically, and that's it. Half the town is apparently military, but they don't look for any other soldiers, they didn't try to attack the base or even a bar full of soldiers (the IRA bombed a pub in exactly the same area), and they didn't even so much as threaten anyone else. They even fucking apologized.
They're just waiting, remarkably calmly and lucidly given what they've just done, knives in bloodied hands. Even more inexplicable, ordinary people are just standing watching or walking around, or approaching these armed killers - who they just witnessed beheading another living human being - and chatting to them, like it's an everyday event.
Ain't a conspiracy, but it's highly fucking bizarre.Comment
