In a way Bettie Page was one of my inspirations for going into the biz, she'll always have a place in my pornhound's heart. Among her other talents she knew how to naturally work the camera like few others, and that body... damnnn.

But yeah, she's been dead for several years & that news article in the OP is from 2008. Why the sudden interest?

I can assure you, there was some pretty raw stuff produced back in the day too - it's just rare now because chances are someone trashed it over the years.

Been restoring & digitizing a big collection of antique (1920s-1940s) porn reels for my vintage site, and some of it is nasty enough that while watching I'm thinking "dude, I cannot publish this". Not saying the web hasn't pushed the boundaries further - and 'normalized' some previously fringe stuff - but our ancestors absolutely got down & dirty.
