I watched "Hero" 3 times - I believe it is Jet's Le best role. The end of the movie is great - the reason he didn't assassinate the dictator. Also martial arts (when the pre-play the fights first in their minds)are very beautiful.
May be you will like movie "Fighter in the Wind" about Masutatsu Oyama(Choi Bae Dal) Korean guy who founded Kyokushin Karate style and became a legend.Comment

IMHO the original "Abre Los Ojos" is better than "Vanilla Sky".
I found the original's score less intrusive than Cameron Crowe's pop-filled one and the directing more subtle. I would recommend watching "Abre Los Ojos" first, then "Vanilla Sky" for an appropriate mano-a-mano

I've watched the original version also coz I got curious with it after watching Vanilla Sky.. I must say that Penelope Cruz in both movies was perfect for the role. Both movies imo rocks!IMHO the original "Abre Los Ojos" is better than "Vanilla Sky".

This week I was pleasantly surprised when I watched Tim Burton's "Dark Shadows", a take off on the 1960's TV show. Johnny Depp played Barnabas Collins, vampire, to the hilt. It was great fun. I laughed until my side hurt during his sex scene with witch played by Eva Green.Comment
