Going out of business sale, unique project with 200+ exclusive HQ soft glamour sets + HD videos

Hey guys, I'll try to keep this short. A while back my main client and I started a new project, it was about a soft-core beauty pageant style competition site featuring girls from famous European cities. The project revolved around the most beautiful models, live shows, interactivity, voting etc. My photographers constantly travelled to shoot girls in every major European city aiming to locally produce the highest quality photographs possible. Our members choose their favorite girls whom we invited to Budapest to perform live in our studio.

Unfortunately after a few months, before the project could get off the ground the investors stopped financing. Now the whole thing is for sale. The concept is great and unique, could be continued anytime. I'd be happy to share details with potential buyers in private. The bottom line is:

We shoot 102 different girls in 18 cities (Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Belgrade, Berlin, Bratislava, Bucharest, Budva, Ljubljana, London, Madrid, Paris, Rome, Sofia, Toulouse, Valetta and Vienna) and have 226 photosets. Half of them are 28MPX, the other half are 56MPX, shot with a 30K Mamiya camera. I also have tons of HD video footage to go with the photos. Not matching videos, but much better I think. I'll tell you more about the videos in a minute. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words so let me show you some samples:

There are tons of videos to go with the photos, for example the girls arriving to Budapest and having fun sightseeing in a limo, like backstage vids of them rehearsing for their live performance, 4 monthly live shows etc etc. Here are a couple:

We were covered by the best lawyers. We of course paid royalties in order to be able to use their music. I've got the contracts to prove it.

Yes, more than enough content to launch a new site and everything is crazy high quality. We built everything to not be limited to online. We built a studio capable of broadcasting HD worldwide, we had the fastest internet connection in the country. Faster than most ISPs. :-) The Venus the Milo statue you see on the stage was built by Louvre museum in Paris costing 13K EUR, etc etc. Now the whole thing is for sale, basically for peanuts. I really do think that there is a lot of potential in this if someone were to continue the project. Or they could do anything with the photos and videos.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. The website was barely launched in beta and was taken offline just a couple of months after it's launch, over a year ago now. CCBill processed for us just like they are processing for thesexgame.com and fuckinggamble.com to this day.

Yes, limited rights though. I have to get in touch with the lawyers, but I think the rights aren't transferable and if someone were to buy the content, they would most likely have to replace the music. We have 100s of hours worth of raw videos backed up on HDDs and LTO tapes as well so re-editing to whatever taste should not be a problem.

can we ask why the financer backed out? was it seen to be upside down after all that investment and they opted out of further investment?

1. I'm not up to date with this or in fact any other adult market right now, but I would think that there are several successful glamour sites out there that are updating regurarly and the content production behind those updates definitely cost several times of what I would like to get for this. In these sets, each one starts with the model being outdoors in her own city at a well known famous place. It's obvious to the viewer that the set was shot in that particular city. I could easily imagine an already existing site opening a new one featuring European girls from each famous European city, or updating with these sets twice a month for example, cutting their update costs significantly.
2. That is the explanation why this is a going out of business thread. Bad timing perhaps. But trust me, I will sell this, the only question is for how much.

3. Cost an amazing amount of money

No, it doesn't. I used to shoot your cookie cutter 10 minute regular solo scenes for twice as much as my bottom line price is for this. I feel I have to let this one go for cheap because I know how the industry is right now and I do want to sell. Does it give you an idea if I say that each set can be had for less than 20% of what it originally cost to produce? Don't forget half is 56MPX, the other half is 28MPX.

I haven't had a chance to get to the emails I was sent. I'll try to get to it today/tomorrow

I'm really looking forward to hearing your opinion Shap. If anyone then you know this niche and the people who could be potential buyers. I would appreciate your feedback a lot.

We didn't deal with them directly so I can't say for sure. We do know that their decision didn't have anything to do with the project itself, as this was just one of the things they financed and all financing stopped at the same time.
