Can I use a 1 domain license for a multisites install....or I would have to host the galleries on a separate domain?

As far as I know you can only use the single license to run on one website. He does have a server license also

That is a tough question because it does not clarify,if multiuser is on the same domain you'd think it is still technically one domain unless otherwise stated no multiuser allowed.
