I was wondering how others get on with Eurovps, especially if those running Xen VPS?
I am running a Wordpress based site hosted on a Eurovps Xen VPS server but have been suffering various problems with it hanging. To be honest, I have no idea whether it is problems with their hosting or my WordPress set up as we are still trying to get to the bottom of it. However, I can't say their seamless migration from the old VPS or my original installation was glitch free as some seemingly obvious things got overlooked, e.g. whitelisting me, correct nameserver set up. In their defence, I can't claim to be a very savvy user and I think I either need to get an expert to tweak my installation or go for a proper purpose built member site as some issues have been caused in the past by peaks in traffic, e.g. a popular video getting a lot of simultaneous views. That said, it is a small niche site and doesn't usually have a massive number of visitors at one time.
