There is an oddly exhilerating feeling when you have $1 in your pocket when you are young and know the only place you can go from there is up. You are fearless as a lion.
You make your fortune and then become like a paranoid tiger on the plains looking constantly around you for everyone and everthing trying to devour your money, (the kill), from you. Many squander their good fortune on wine, women, song, and of course a few bad deals here and there and wake up one day quite a bit older back with just that $1 in their pocket. They look in the mirror, shake their head in utter disbelief and say "What the Fuck?" "Where did it all go?" and back they must go to hunt in the jungle of business again.

Great post, I know EXACTLY what you are tlaking about.
When I was much younger, I use to wash cars at a large dealership and the coach for the local NCAA basketball team would come in and get the use of ANY car for FREE for as long as he wanted, had 4 cars in 3 days once, didnt like the colors. Man made over $300k as a coach and $500K in endorsments and never paid for a thing. That's when I learned that people with $ help People with $ |
