But AHF really soured me to donating anything to anyone because of that Dick Wienstien who chills in a 3k+ square foot lavishly decorated office over looking the city and him using a lot of the money donated in his fight against the porn industry.

Red Cross is good, I believe 90%+ of their funds go to their programs. Except their half a million they pay their CEO every year. But that is very common with large charities.
