Most people in Sweden, Norway and Denmark have a credit card. Dialers are still doing good/better though, I think.

Most people in Sweden have a creditcard and can easily afford membership to sites, but because of bad media reports on using creditcards online many people are afraid of using it. Dialers for swedish traffic is not the best idea since such a high percentage use highspeed connections.

we see a decent amount of VISA/MC signup's from .se locales, not too many but certainly enough to where i wouldn't consign them to a dialer..

Considering the great amount of broadband connections I would go for CC, but both ordering online with credit cards and dialers have a bad rep over here. Otherwise Sweden is a pretty good market for online porn since most of the population can afford it because of the socialized society. CC's are becoming more and more usuall plus online transactions are increasing with every year.

You can do both. I would test my traffic with both solutions and see which one pays the best.
All Scandinavian countries have high GDP's as well as access to state-of-the-art technology. Most homes have both cell phones, highspeed internet as well as creditcards.

As these countries are well aware of the different ways to use cell phones such as SMS and are infact using phone services they're well educated in both creditcard and phone billing.

There's also dialers out there who can handle billing over the cell phone/regular phone for highspeed internet so that's not a problem. ex. http://www.electronic-group.com or netdialers.

It is true that people tend to be a little wary of using their creditcards on the net - but not a lot more than in the states.

The real problem with cc is really in the billing company you use. Make sure that they will process offshore cc's from for instance Denmark,Sweden, Norway or Finland. Some companies scrub very hard on off shore cc's - which can cause you to loose potential business.

Using a dialer for danish traffic is a good idea.....the vast majority of all danes use dialup as far as I know.

Swedish traffic converts EXTREMELY well with dialers, but give em both i.e. with CC option. My experiences from Sweden & Finland are that both are 80 - 90% dialer countries even with high BB % - people with fast connections use their phones to pay per minute. So be sure that your dialer provider have this option.

Only then a person ask he's phone company to open to those countries, you can use dialers to them.

But 75% of danes have a CC. But they don't use it much.

Yes, Danes do use CC's a lot. Due to the local debitcard "Dankort" which is usually tied into the cc VISA.

Most Danes don't even carry cash anymore - as you can pay everything with cc. Dankort/VISA.

Everything from cab-rides to online porn :-)

It is true that it might be hard getting good rates for the dialer companies in Denmark, as TeleDanmark is no longer offering it - you would have to use Telia etc. which the majority of Danes don't use as a phonecompany.

However, with high-speed internet connections and payment for the dialer via cell phone - you got better options. Telia, Sonofon, Mobilix, TeleDanmark, etc.

However, again, try with your traffic both options and see what works better for you. It also depends on what dialer you choose - and what creditcard processor - so test in that end as well. It varies...

But Danes do not use there CC much on the net, becouse PBS has made a campain agains the internet buying. Now after PBS was allowed to add fee to the internet transaction, they have trouble making CC owners belive it is safe.

All that with PBS was 2 years ago. But still CC owners don't belive it is safe.

It is allso right that we do not cary much cash around, we have our Dankort and use that every time we shopping. Even in a taxi we can use the card.

People in almost every country got CC`s (china too, they just can`t buy anything outside their country), that`s mainly the CC billing processor problem - they ban too much countries, like mine
That makes me fucking laugh & cry that they don`t allow me to spend my hard earned money on their pages.

Well, yes I am Danish :-) However, the PBS issues where years ago - when the internet billing with cc just started. The reason PBS was against it at the time is that they'd made the Dankort and not taken internet safety into consideration. So all the costs of changing the cards where billed to the owner.

However, yes, PBS do accept adult charges on the visa/dankort - some companies they've blackmailed - but if you use Ibill/CCbill/Paycom etc. you will not have a problem.

They blacklist from company to company.
