Lots of crazy rumors. Like Obama is gonna replace the ammo with gunpowder that stops working after a year and Obama is gonna make all ammo illegal. People are calling for higher taxes on ammo. But I don't see it reaching what the people are selling it for on gunbroker.

Ammo is something I do not have a concern about. I have more ammo for several different firearms than I will ever use in my lifetime. I also have the ability to reload...shells.When you're running down my country hoss...you're walking on the fighting side of me!

What if it's the ammunition-makers that start those rumours about the government outlawing ammunition or tampering with the gun-powder?
Because what happens when paranoid gun-lovers hear that kind of rumour? They go out and BUY as much ammo as they can, filling the pockets of ammunition-makers.
Strange how you never hear that kind of angle to conspiracies, only the ones about the government.

In Texas we have been having plenty of shipments of ammo and guns again. Most of the local Walmart stores that can sell guns are getting rifles back in stock and more pallets of bullets are coming daily. Our local Cabela's has taken down their 20 spot cubicles they had up for the gun buying craze because they have guns on the shelf again and removed ammo restrictions.Comment

I have a few friends that stocked up on guns and shit tons of ammo. Talking about how Obama is going to take them both away. We went duck hunting in December and no store around me had the proper shells. So my buddies provided me with them for free setting as how they all had them by the thousands and I only needed 25 or so. Worked out great except that they went on and on about, "see, we told you he'd take away the ammo, bro!" I just laughed and told them to pass me a couple more shells.
