    i posted this in the other thread but what the hell.

    look, twan ran a great system for several years and made some people a lot of dough (including myself) and even more considering it was freaking FREE.

    why is it that when a service like this closes, the only thing people do is bitch about it?

    it ran it's course, that's it. it's over.

    if you made some money, buy a damn beer and toast to Twan for providing a great service for the time that he did.

                              Even though a lot of people are hating on free hosts, they are great to learn on before going in and buying/creating your own blog networks. I know I learned a lot in the beginning with Twan's services and was a great backlink resource, but were not meant for long term blogging, especially with the tools not working, it really needed some updates and lack of people posting on the forum, which are probably some of the reasons why it went down..

                                      I guess Twan really didn't owe any of us anything but assuming something serious didn't happen it would have been nice to at least let people know what is going on and whether they should expect their blogs to come back. It's nothing to me now but I would bet there are quite a few people who paid their rent using Thumblogger. I feel sorry for them.

                                      I was submitting quite a few blogs to Twan's directories around '08 and making decent money from it when suddenly it became hit or miss and he wanted you to PM him when there was a problem. But then people would report that he was slow with that and you would see complaints on his forum. It was at that point that I knew not to trust the host for anything important or to base my income off his directories.

                                      You don't like my posts? Put me on ignore or fuck right off. I'll say what I want.

                                                  Most webmasters in adult use him for their own selfish desires of their free service. You give him nothing in return. Would you of payed for his host? The answer, hell no! Most people are Cheapos...

                                                  He put his life and soul into that site and got nothing back the last few years, but hate from his fans when he goes away. The guy had personal issues and problems and had to leave. But all you guys care about is how the site doesn?t give YOU any more value, and went offline.

                                                  When most of you made money using their Free Service.

                                                  The adult business has always been a Risky Volatile Business. Sponsors come and go, and they even take your money. Lots of sponsors owe me money.

                                                  What does Twan owes you? Nothing... You can even grab your content using google cache, you had already 1 month to do so.

                                                  You made money with his free service and he owes you nothing.
