Scam or not with paypal > paxum exchange on GFY - GoFuckYourself.com

I was searching to exchange paypal to paxum recently. Got a message from member dimegkay (email [email protected]) saying I should contact Roby:

Not YET saying they are scammers, but maybe you know something about these guys?

Ive dealt with roby many times and he is legit. Having said that, the only email address I have dealt with him through is robystudio at gmail. I dont recognize that other email, but I dont know if that is one of his other emails. I can assure you roby isn't going to fuck you, but hopefully someone else can verify that contact info. Hopefully you didnt get scammed by someone else using his name.

I contacted real Roby today and searched about him. He uses different ICQ. Still have a little hope, there is another Roby doing exchanges.

well, I don't know how you came to that conclusion, but probably 80-90% of the scammers at GFY are from US. However, nationality shouldn't be an issue. Eric Gauthier is from US while Roby is from Serbia or Romania or something. You got scammed by the non-US guy, go figure, and he used the name of a well respected member.

Bottom line is: do a better research next time and leave prejudice aside. And good luck

On a side note, guess you already did but just in case: did you already contact Paxum and Paypal?

I know there are scammers in every country, just there are more in these where people earn less.

I should have done better research and that's my fault. It is just really sad when I am having a lot of problems with my bussiness these days and this shit also happens as an addon. However, what goes around, comes around.

Not yet already contacted paypal, thought I will discuss this with you at first. Will do that today. Just from my own practice, paypal do not reverse money back if they were sent for services or as a gift. But this / these scammers should get their accounts blocked.

I do not know the paxum email, as I sent money to paypal and never recieved something from paxum.

I got scammed by that scumbag a couple of weeks ago for $108, he used a phishing email to make me think I was purchasing a script from the real seller. Paypal sided with the scumbag since he said digital delivery. I am going to start a thread also, if I get verification that I have his/hers correct address in Quebec I am going to contact his local authorities or send some sick fucking Albanians to his house to pick up the money in the middle of the night.

These paypal money were not from my own account. These were from 2 partners who bought backlinks on my sites. I wrote for both of them to open disputes and leave money for themselves if they will be reversed. I do not want scammers to earn from honest people.

I doubt if these/this guy even have paxum account. I have only his emails, logs and icq contact. Going to write paxum about this, but maybe they use only paypal to scam people.
