    can someone give me the low down on xbiz?

    Why does their forum not promote business... rather highlight the losers in this industry?

    Why do they also delete every post when they ban a user? Cant take the heat or what?

    It's just weird...

      years ago we used to frequent xbiz almost daily.

      until oneday I saw an adult industry *best* award given by xbiz to a company in the adult industry.

      I then looked that company up at exactly the same time the award was given and noticed that company had a fucking F- rating with the better business bureau.

      We are not talking A,B,C,or D rating but an F which is flunk,fail,fraud,fubar

      That was enough for me to end my daily travels to xbiz.

      been a few years and do not miss that place at all.

                                                                                                                              Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

A good business thread went out of control thanks to some poser who hijacked it and the admins were quick to close the thread.

The vibe I get from this just isn't very good. It's one thing to get rid of obvious trolls but it's another to shutout and insult people because they aren't bros or because they don't work for a bro. I look around and see what the "yes men" have done to this industry and I just shake my head. The way I see things I will take an honest struggling newcomer who is making $100 a month in the industry over some scumbag owner who cheats everyone and fucks over the industry any day. Calling the former "broke losers" I think is unbecoming of an organization such as XBIZ and kind of illustrates much of what is wrong with the industry.

There's a distinct focus on interaction among those within the industry than is present on other boards. Xbiz has generated a good deal of business for us via "connections" and business interactions, without the clutter.

                                                                                                                                                                  That said, there are still industry professionals who visit here, they are mostly just quiet these days I suspect. GFY serves an essential service though... it reveals people for their professionalism, or lack thereof, and thus helps determine if you''d ever want to do business with them, or the program they represent ;)

                                                                                                                                                                  I can say without hesitation that the lack of professionalism shown by some reps on this board has made us avoid working with them. Similarly, I know some program managers who have rejected, or outright deleted, an affiliate's application based on the way they act on the board(s).

                                                                                                                                                                          There is a new group emerging that thinks the industry needs cleaning out from the shady parasites in the middle, the content thieves, the shady programmers,shady hosts, the shady traffic brokers,etc and not to mention the shady trolls.

                                                                                                                                                                          It would appear that all the shady ass hats have no honor and hang together. be it shady hosting, shady billing, shady file sharing, shady trolling its all the same mindset behind it.

                                                                                                                                                                          They seem to think it is ok to lie cheat and steal no matter who it harms so long as it pays one of their 3 fucking mortgages or gambling habbits

Similarly, I know some program managers who have rejected, or outright deleted, an affiliate's application based on the way they act on the board(s).

                                                                                                                                                                                                  i can take an insult. i can ignore trolls. but it does get tiring when threads are full of language that wouldn't be tolerated in any corporate office (much less a boardroom). and that's the problem with gfy. i don't go to gfy daily. i visit maybe once a week to scan for business-related threads. i do go to xbiz daily and participate because the majority of members (90%+) are people in the biz that are actually working and making money.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  a lot of what beaner/judo said is absolutely true. if you are unliked at xbiz, you will be bounced. but look at the behavior that leads to it? beaner, you had a total meltdown that was the end result of weeks of back and forth arguing with the 3 guys you mentioned. the 4 of you slung personal and slanderous insults at each other day after day, in multiple threads, often just repeating the same bs over and over.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  what was the point of it? you don't like each other. so what? i don't like a lot of people. am i going to waste hours and days of my time arguing with them? hell no. i have a grand in billable time to get through every day.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  all this fighting and back and forth bs is just not worth it. as robwod said, the only thing the fighting achieved is making you guys (all 4) look bad and lose current and future business. what is more important than that? why be online at all if you aren't making money? if i didn't need to hustle every day i'd shut my Internet off and sit on my porch watching the bamboo grow all day..
