I should go to law school.. Also, never give up when you're down or poor

Except for the night you were driving drunk, which led to this, which you were obviously guilty of or you wouldn't be doing any time.
Like I said, you will do good in jail. Nobody there is guilty and they will all tell you that.
Also, this whole thing about not giving up on yourself is ridiculous. You gave up on yourself a long time ago which is why women have to support you and you got into this mess in the first place.
You may think highly of yourself but probably 90% of the population thinks you're scum.Last edited by epitome; 04-27-2013, 11:03 PM.Comment

If you get hit by the police they will charge you with resisting/assault because they will say that is why they hit you. In many cases it is dropped."the more they charge you with the better chance they will have of having at least some of it stick" is something they've been doing as long as I can remember. Five of Six charges against me were DROPPED before I went to trial or even pre trial in Florida ... As I understand it, when they beat your ass in Osceola County or most places down that way, they charge YOU with assault and everything else just to protect themselves.
I'd possibly be in much "deeper shit" if I had not worked so hard finding out exactly what time it was on both of the cases.. The mistake you're talking about, me being charged under the wrong subsection of the statute, it apparently doesn't matter because they do what the fuck they want here in kansas. Especially if you're not one of their own and your pockets are empty.
I can live with that. Nolo contendere, for now. Maybe later when I'm in a better societal position- if I ever am- and I just may end up being.
It is the other thing I don't follow. You say you got a lighter sentence because they charged you under the wrong subsection of the statute. Does this mean that once the mistake was pointed out they dropped some charged therefore you avoided any punishment for them or does this mean that they modified the charges to put them under the correct subsection which then carried a much lighter penalty?
Also, you say you never drive drunk, but you were charged with DUI. Had you drank at all in the few hours before you got behind the wheel? You might be shocked at how little you actually have to drink to be over the legal limit.Comment

let's get this straight.
you start a "motivational" thread about not giving up and how you "should" go to law school, because of how clever you think you are, but can't because the years involved.
so i reply with
which you don't even acknowledge
but then i get a fuck you instead

Here's the thing: you invested a lot of time doing research on this case because: 1 - it's your only case, and 2 - it's your ass on the line. You have to ask yourself: would I have the same fervor and tenacity if I was juggling 50 cases, none of which involved the possibility of me going to jail personally? A lawyer who handles every case as if it's their only case, with their own ass on the line is a great lawyer. News flash: this type of lawyer pretty much only exists on TV.Comment

They lawyers were telling me I'd be sentenced to 5 days jail + 85 days house arrest.. Then I read the statute myself and found out why. It was because on my case it said the statute number subsection E which describes punishments for FOURTH offense. 5 days + 85 is minimum sentencing for FOURTH offense.
So now I am eating a sentence more in line with what I am actually charged with. Second offense, since I was convicted of one back in 2007.Comment

I told you a rebuttal to you talking shit. I'm sorry I missed your first post.
I can't imagine going to school, I wish I could, I am not as sharp as I use to be and would not fit in with a bunch of white people everywhere I guess. I ain't been inside of a school since I was twelve... you know? I turned 30 a few days agoComment

No I'm not, you moron.
You just make shit up and the internet would be better off if you'd break your keyboard over your own face. You're the worst case of PBKAC I've ever seen.
Being an honest person has cost me A LOT in life, but I damned well am one.Comment

Good point. I am one of the most loyal dedicated people alive, though, if you're my client I'd cut off my arm to save your fucking ass if I had to. I've never bailed on anyone, ever. No matter how tough or scary or dangerous the situation was, I never ran from shit when anyone needed me.
So yeah I think I'd pretty much LIVE for my cases if I was going to do it I'd go all of the way. But I doubt I can just go to school all of a sudden after 20 years, you know?Comment
