I find it easy to get traffic. Even a lot of tier 1 traffic. The problem is getting them to buy.
For 90% of paysites out there it is easier and quicker to find the content on tubes or forums than it is to whip out the credit card and pay for it. The forums have screen captures, everything is categorized and it's easy to find. Or just grab the site rip. Or go to a tube and type in the name of the model and the paysite name. Plus there are no worries about getting your card banged. And this is if CCBill will even process your damned card without declining you or requiring you to call them about the gay anal twink site!
Now I know what you are thinking. "The average surfer doesn't know how to do that!" Well don't be too sure. I have retired relatives who did not know how to use a mouse ten years ago. Just a couple years ago they only turned on the computer maybe once a month. Recently they confided that they use the internet 4-6 hours a day. They are 65 years old. The old dumb newbie users are disappearing fast. The new dumb users who are in a hurry go to the tubes. The advanced users and the collectors all use forums or torrents. Few go to paysites or affiliate sites with samples. I wish it weren't so but it's the case. Actually the more significant difference is that bottled water is a physical product and you can't yet go to a website and have good water flow out of your USB port.
If tomorrow through some technological miracle someone were to open a site "freequalitywater.com" where you could visit and get good water to flow out of your monitor or phone then bottled water sales would tank in almost the same way porn sales have tanked over the last six years. Some at first would stop buying but over the years many more would stop as they are educated that the product they were paying for is now freely available.
You don't have to be an Einstein to get this. You're now a bottle water salesman standing at the local Walmart while your old customers scoff at you as they get their water free from their mobile phones. They say "Why would we pay?
