    While moderation has been lacking around here, one thing that the admins/mods can't control is someone that was previously banned re-registering and starting all over again.

    However, it never takes long for those people to expose who they really are and it'd be nice if there were quicker action in getting rid of their second, third, thirteenth nick.

    Most of the people being complained about in this thread are back after having their first nicked permabanned.

                                            The lack of business threads is bothersome. I come here to find out "the state of the Industry" which is, in a word, shitty. So I come here to try and connect with others in this business, people with common issues, concerns and problems. Hopefully I can find some solutions to some vexing issues (traffic, billers, ad buys, traffic trades, blog building and the like) but instead find useless BS bullshit (yes I said it twice) on bitcoins, this conspiracy or that, just total waste of time.

                                            I'm thinking of advertising my newest sites on GFY but may reconsider. What's the point of trying to signup trolls as affiliates?

This would work for affiliate members. Other verification like a phone call to new pro members. Or we could even pay to join, one time fee, which might weed out some of the trolls.

                                                                                                                                                Sudden activity after a ban from another nick would reference the nick to other that had been banned.

                                                                                                                                                Using fuzzy logic it wouldn't be too hard to draw a conclusion.

I probably read more than most people but I find it pretty easy to tell who is a troll and who had a nickname banned previously. Half the time they even admit it.

                                                                                                                                                                                                Most of the people who are called trolls here are 80-90% troll/off topic and 10-20% industry or somewhere thereabouts. So they aren't fully trolls. They just post a lot of off topic stuff all the time.

                                                                                                                                                                                                Maybe it's time to simply say that at least 50% of your posts on the main forum in any given 30 day period have to be industry related or you get the boot under the normal system of bans? I don't give a shit myself but I can see where people get annoyed when half the topics are about politics and conspiracies.

JohnnyClips was to blame for 95% of it.
