The problem isn't only the trolling itself, a forum's reaction to it is much more important.
As long as a troll is getting the attention it craves, he/she WILL come back. Banning isn't a deterrent, in fact the troll will take it as a "win".

While moderation has been lacking around here, one thing that the admins/mods can't control is someone that was previously banned re-registering and starting all over again.
However, it never takes long for those people to expose who they really are and it'd be nice if there were quicker action in getting rid of their second, third, thirteenth nick.
Most of the people being complained about in this thread are back after having their first nicked permabanned.Comment
