                                        So Sub forums are a bad idea, in theory bitcoin should go in the Mainstream one, but it's pretty much dead.

                                        Or perhaps we should be given thread tokens. I don't know like 5 a day or something, nobody should really need to make more than 5 threads per day should they? I don't know just an idea.

                                                            Trolls would either wait until mods are offline to come back, or pull a mass invasion where they coordinate and post new threads at the same time, filling up the forum's front page. Those were my personal favourite

So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

                                                                                    The GFY owners/mods seem to have become increasingly detached (apathetic) about GFY.

                                                                                    It may have something to do with the change in ownership, because it appears that there is less attention and concern for GFY under the new leadership, or at the least an unwillingness to come to terms with the upsurge in trolling by the conspiracy kooks. I don't even have to name the worst 5 offenders, because if you read GFY much at all (not sure if the current mods do), you can pretty much list up their nicks.

                                                                                    And speaking of nicks, a few of the worst offending trolls are obvious fake nicks of serial banned people...starting with probably the two worst offenders, JohnnyClips (aka TheFootMan5), and SallyRand (aka AdultPornMasta). It seems like they are trying to see how far they can go before getting banned again, since they really don't give a shit about GFY or the adult industry for the most part (ninavain is in the industry, but has clearly lost it mentally recently or just wants to get in on the troll action).

                                                                                    I'm with Duke (and we don't agree on all things), if you really want to give the CT types their own playground, make it a separate time-out area, a la Paul Markham's forum, that spares the rest of us from their non-stop nonsense on the front page.

                                                                                    Otherwise, as this thread indicates, serious industry people are getting a little bit tired of the trolls overrunning the front page with their idiocy and making the industry look like kooks in the process (as if we don't have enough to deal with already).

                                                                                    It is no surprise that no mod has responded to this thread after several hours (and it is already into page 2), since it's much like the YouTube autoplay issue which they were several hours and dozens of complaints late in responding to.

                                                                                    I'm coming to the conclusion that the operators of GFY are either too busy or they just don't care as long as GFY generates money for them...

                                                                                    I actually wrote Theo a few days ago and volunteered to be a mod, since I feel that the situation has gotten so far out of hand. Theo didn't bother to even respond, so for those of you whom would fear/dislike me as a GFY mod, you may rest easy, lol.

Six months ago, he was fairly well regarded around here, and often times helpful. But it would seem in the past 6 months or so since getting caught up in all of this PBBC bullshit he has managed to annoy a lot of the old guard, and focuses mainly on trolling.

                                                                                                                            Unfortunately, I am seeing some of the trolls finding their way over there as of late, but I do like that there is an expectation of being in the business in order to be a member there. With the exception of some of the ongoing banter from a couple of the UK guys (it's like they are compelled to troll one another), it is certainly a lot more slanted towards the professional and/or business aspect than GFY is. As a result, I find myself spending more time over there than here.

                                                                                                                            GFY serves a purpose though... it reveals the level of professionalism, or lack thereof, of its participants.

Moderators could tag interesting biz threads and they would stay on the first page a little longer. Just a thought.
