There are levels of Muslim extremists, and Muslim extremists are not all Jihadists. Not all of them demand death for all infidels and take the Koran as literal as others.
While it doesn't make the news in your country, I live in a country that has had a Muslim war going on for about 10 years. Every day there is at least one or two terrorist attacks and people are blown to bit or killed by snipers. That means we have at least one Boston Marathon a day. Now the bombshell... I've been down there right in the middle of the hot zone and I'm as white as they come, and they don't bother me at all. They don't like the west, and most of them hate America, but they don't cut my head off when I'm down there. Shocking, I know.
So don't believe everything the western media tells you about the black and white world of Islam. They are as diverse as any other religion. Some hate westerners more than others, and only the absolute die hard Jihadists want death for everyone who does not worship Allah.
And yes, revenge plays a huge role in this. Every bomb that drops in the Middle East is fuel to recruit new young extremists, some who will carry out horrific acts of violence.Comment
