website color question
do guys stay on pages long if they are pink i see some blogs being all pink / purple you would think a guy looking at porn wouldn't like that I'm sure most of you have an answer to the question

I hate pink sites, but I gotta admit pale pink is a good choice for bg color. In general, most pastel colors work fine since they are easy and sedative.
Same goes for black or white bg sites: while I think pure white and pure black looks better, it has been proven that non absolute black or white (ie #f5f5f5 or #2a2a2a or shades like that) works better in terms of time spent on a site. of course, you can solve this in an easy way: offer different color combinations to your users and problem solved. You can even track their choices to see what they like

Actually, being serious for a moment, I conducted an experiment back in 2002 using two diff colour schemes on a solo girl website...
V1 was the site 'as it was'
V2 was the site using the exact same colours as a pepsi cola can... (For familiarity)
