Somehow it came to the attention of the police - most likely the kid told too many people or what not. Police interviewed the kid, the kid knew the layout of the teacher's house and was able to describe things in her house that proved he had been in her house.
Not sure about you, but I have NEVER been in any of my teacher's houses, nor has my daughter been in any of her teacher's houses.
Between the description of her house and some tattoos that the teach had - that a student should never know about - that was enough to interview the teacher, who in this case quickly confessed.
