    I heard one of the guys that was interviewed that watched it all from his apartment say he fled in the SUV, there are lots and lots of conflicting stories either way it is crazy he managed to evade so many officers whether on foot or in a vehicle..

    Some crazy stuff going on over there i feel for the people on Boston atm thats for sure. I really hope there are no more casualties or injury to innocent people.

        yeah, I'm guessing he must have got out of there fast on foot or car before the 1000s of officers descended on the scene.

                ok, that is weird, the press conference they just had like 2 minutes ago, they were asked this question directly and he answered directly that he fled on foot.

                this is crazy!

                    It's not hard to evade a manhunt for a few hours. Just hunker down somewhere and stay quiet. The problems come when it turns into many hours or days.... when you need food, water, heat etc etc... He doesn't have more stamina than 1000s of cops combined.

                        It seems crazy he has evaded capture for so long he must be real nearby i guess, i would think if he was fleeing further afield they would have caught him by now..

                        There was a case in the UK a few years back with a guy called Raul Moat and he managed to hide for a week the whole time he was not very far away at all, kind of reminds me of this situation

                                        there are a lot of questions in my mind right now too. the fact that this happened wide-open in the middle of the street means that *hopefully* citizens recorded the event and we will get it sorted out soon enough.

                                                Really makes it seem like there's a larger group involved that was able to help him evade the authorities. The dad's comment about "hell breaking loose" if the kid is killed seems to enforce that theory.

                                                        The family are not Canadian, an Aunt lives in Toronto, the Dad is in Russia, An Uncle lives in Maryland (2 apparently), a Sister in New York.

                                                        So you read that there is one relative in Canada, then reference an article from yesterday, and say "see you soon"? After one of them has been killed today, the other still in the Boston area most likely.
