How can you sell porn unless you know what it is like to buy it as a customer?

You need to understand the whole customer journey, from signing up, to entering the site, the UX, the emails you get, everything.

The only time I ever paid for porn was when I was maybe eleven and bought a HUGE stack of playboys for $1 apiece at a flea market and sold them on ebay for a huge profit

Well, obviously you can sell it without knowing that. But how good of a sales person can you be?

Lets use an analogy. We are not talking about porn - We shall talk about a gallon pot of white paint.

Guy 1 says - Yep, here it is - white paint - 1 gallon. Click here to buy

Guy 2 says - I recommend this paint. I used it to paint my porch. It didn't drip, dried quickly and left no odour. It had good coverage - Only needed one coat... & After 3 months, its still as bright as ever - Despite me smoking in the porch from time to time, it hasn't picked up a yellow tinge yet... Also, unlike 'Duluxxx Matt white' Its remainder has kept well also. Lid was nice and firm and secure, but easy to remove. I'm gonna use it to paint something else next week...

Not only has he used the product himself, but he can give me an opinion based on other paints he has bought and used before. And, if its an online advert, these extra keywords and genuine descriptive term, regarding his personal experience of the product, add to his SEO


So, yeah. You CAN sell porn without ever purchasing it as a proper customer. But I am only laughing at the amount of people who seem to 'boast' about selling something that they have not paid paid for.... Then complaining that they cant make the sale to others!!!
