Considering al qaeda doesn't even have a clue who did it and hasn't tried to claim responsibility, I'm starting to lean toward home grown..
I'm kinda surprised someone hasn't claimed responsibility. With this kind of stuff usually the idea is to go for shock value & terror but to use that as a tool to push their message.
Yet we have no message being pushed, just the shock & the terror. Added to that the various letters sent containing Ricin to both a Republican senator & Obama it seems very odd.
I'd almost start to think perhaps if all are connected that maybe it's some sort of anarchist and not a religious or traditional political type group. However being the attacks took place on Patriots day in Boston it could also be some sort of anti Fed type, assuming the Ricin is done by the same person(s).
I'd think for the investigators it's likely more worrying that they don't have any sort of claim for responsibility. To me over all that just pushes me to think it's more of a home grown type.
The question though is how did they get a hold of the Ricin if they are connected. Is it hard to produce being it comes from a plant?

Just curious how you know that Al Qaeda doesn't even have a clue who did it. Did you speak with Al himself? Are you part of the inner circle? How would you know. Because they haven't tried to claim responsibility yet?
