i have numerous sites that rank for one kw that make ~$1k a month (sorry not $4k a month i wish)

almost all are emd .orgs

I have one domain that ranks for a single adult keyword phrase and used to make nearly $5k mo., but after Penguin it's settled to around $3k. The domain is close to an EMD, keyword-suffix.com.

I had a site that ranked #1 for a keyword (Yay!) for over a decade. But Google replaced my listings with a pop-up filled tube video page (one tube video replaces an entire site worth of content on the topic - even though the video page does not even have the keywords I used to search on Google); and a bunch of pages that directly link to malware and viruses (according to McAfee).

Adapt or die. I would rather die than click on my competitions links - because most of them automatically destroy my computer.

only 1-2k a month and it was in the past, 2005-08 and yes, it was usually EMD. today, it would be much harder.

Had one site ranking for granny porn, also making me about $1k a month, that was quite a few years back. Had one site ranking for black porn KWs, making about $100-150 per day, but Google booted it out after a week or so, so that didn't last

Before Google came along I had the #1 spot for years on 3 different engines for the keyword dating and it would pull in up to 50k a month.

Before the internet came along I had women on the best street corners for years in different cities for the highest earning tricks and the would pull in up to 100k a month.

I have a #1 spot for a niche dating keyword (the EMD), my position hasn't changed for over a year, survives Penguin and Panda updates, but I have to dig up some new sponsors, it's not doing bang or bank w/ the sponsors I'm running now.

yeah, I was close to the top with "granny porn" and "granny fucking" keywords too, good money makers then.

yes, no, with 2 domains. 1 domain was almost an emd, the other was nowhere near an emd.
