I never understood this - people bitch and rant about their "rights" but yet what has really changed? Forty years ago when I got on a plane I had to pass through security. After 9/11, I still pass through security. Otherwise, nothing. The government doesn't interfere with my life at all. I can still get in my car and drive clear across the country without having to show my "papers" - just like before 9/11.

I've never heard of this, but whatever. They've had my finger prints since I joined the military so whatever. But it makes sense to make sure they know who is coming in the country.
I must have missed that. I've never been fondled or searched at airport check points. I think once they ran a tissue over my laptop looking for explosives. If I had it my way, everyone would be searched better. I want to get to my destination, not be a missile for some terrorist.
