    Bitcoin haters, i have a question

    How bad does it hurt that after 2 days of massive attacks on the site that controls 80% of the coin, 2 days of huge server problems...that the bitcoin is worth twice what it was 1 month ago? That the only thing that happened was push it back to what it was about 2 weeks ago?
    The only thing that happened is show that the coin is strong as fuck and isn't going anywhere?

    Does it hurt a lot?
    Does it drive you nuts?

    Are you crying right now?

                  I like the idea behind bitcoins. Trading without the government being involved. Without them controlling the currency.

                  I don't like this whole bitcoin as an investment thing. Too much volatility and craziness.

Why is everybody else an "imbecile" if they're not on board? It makes you look pretty childish all things considered.

                                                                                                              Bitcoins have been raising in value with the exception of this last little hiccup. Sure, you're right about that. It is however a totally unregulated market and one that can only be played in one direction. If MtGox just disappears one day, what will you do about it? What about people that prefer to play markets, commodities, FX and other trades that can be played in both directions on any given day?

                                                                                                              Look, I'm happy you consider that you're doing well with bitcoins. I'd urge you to consider that while you've made what, a few thousand dollars on your coins and thus far lost a few thousand on your "mining operation", there are experienced day traders even amongst us here at GFY that are making that and more in a single day. They're not here calling you an imbecile, moron, butthurt etc either. Food for thought.
