I'm happy to see though that it looks like people realize what the problem is. And that is not the coin itself.

Guys if you are going to do a skimming pool please please please let me help I have some useful knowledge and can handle lots of the tech stuff. we could tack on 100 Ghash in no time.

Very simple, all we need to do is assign ourselves more Ghash than we bring, because there is no one to one block award ratio. When we get awarded a block, we can distribute it according to whatever hash pool ratio we say, and as long as they are getting a return the folks won't mind.

No clue what you said but either way if the coin stays this low mining with a few gpu's won't be worth it.

Are you suggesting we should scam people by not giving them a fair share?

what? dude 100 ghash would average 20k a month at these prices - do you understand we'd be aggregating processing power?

That is a service. Do you call bank spread not a fair share? It is simply expressed in terms of mhash contribution

Nop, it was back at 140 before till they got ddos'd again. Sad to see that the only thing holding it down is not the coin itself but shitty servers and ddos kids.

Don't you agree?

Question, is MtGox that important that you're blaming the drops on them?

BTC-E has been up all the time this crash in price etc has been happening, as far as I can tell.

It was worth it 2 days ago but now, no.
As I understood it, the higher the price the harder the mathematical pb to solve hence longer time. So whether btc is 1c or $1000 the relative work stays the same. Ie as price goes up, so does the number of cpu cycles required.
Well, that's the logical way anyway.

Yes, 80% of the coins pass through them. No need to explain it any further.
