11 minutes to see where this heads...

NiXXiN 04-11-2013 06:49 PM

ok heres my take, lets see if its right or close

opening mtgox will get a hell of a lot of sell orders bringing the price down to 50-80 and then a ressurgence of buying will bring it back around 150 and thats where it will sit for a bit.

~Ray 04-11-2013 06:51 PM

tick tock said the clock. 6 minutes til retirement :)

- Jesus Christ - 04-11-2013 06:54 PM

Gonna laugh if there is an anticlimactic freeze of the trading engine or it just never starts at all.

NiXXiN 04-11-2013 06:57 PM

well there is def going to be a huge amount of lag with all the rushes for buy and sell orders

dyna mo 04-11-2013 07:00 PM

Mtgox trading engine lag: 379.96s

Absolutely worthless.

NiXXiN 04-11-2013 07:09 PM

yeh ditry F its a shame that its the exchanges that might make bitcoin fail.

d-null 04-11-2013 07:09 PM

what does it mean when bitstamp shows $62 while mtgox shows $72 ?

Dirty F 04-11-2013 07:10 PM

So this 12 hour stop, what was it good for exactly?

Uhm let's see. A price drop of 50 and a laggy engine just as before the stop.

Wel done Gox. Smart move.

Yup, no bubble, no anything of what the haters are crying about.

Simply a trading engine caused a drop of 200 dollars in total.
Who would've thought.

Yeah, this will probably be the end..

People, like me, are gonna give up soon.

They are simply killing Bitcoin. For 2 days now.
How much more patience and trust will people have?

Mtgox trading engine lag: 537.52s

This is ridiculous.

There is no way it will go up again like this.
I can't believe that a fucking trading engine is the cause of this all.
What an anti climax.

dyna mo 04-11-2013 07:20 PM

Dirty F 04-11-2013 07:27 PM

Well, it looks like at least it won't go below 75.
Putting us back just a couple of weeks.
Pretty amazing that after all this shit, and there is a lot of it, it's still that strong.

NiXXiN 04-11-2013 07:28 PM

yeh its comforting to know actually, maybe if its all said and done it will stay around 100 and not be as volitile as it has been, might see a nice slow steady trend upwards

Dirty F 04-11-2013 07:31 PM

Haters, this is probably your last chance to get in cheap.
Just do it now so you can stop your childish crying all day.

NiXXiN 04-11-2013 07:33 PM

IF you want to get in cheap buy from bitcoin24, it is trading in the 50s.

I dont why these exchanges have such drastically different pricing.

No, there is an issue somewhere with the hardware which i couldn't figure out. I'm gonna fix it later today. I'll let you know.

Dirty F 04-11-2013 07:36 PM

Because the smaller exchanged only hold a few % of the bitcoins.
So one big sell or buy order can totally mess things up.

Mtgox has 80% or so so that's the one to watch.

Dirty F 04-11-2013 07:38 PM

yeh let me know if you need any help, send me the error your receiving or whatever the problem at hand is.

if you think about it $80/BTC is still pretty good, it just looks shit because it was so high at $260, when it was $80 everyone was like OMG NO WAY. but now we have seen what it could be it doesnt look so tempting.

that being said, we now see it at $115 and rising, it might drop again because people that bought @ 60 are going to sell at $120 which will drop it, but thats healthy for the market, especially the way it is atm.

NiXXiN 04-11-2013 07:50 PM

you know, us bitcoin guys could create our own mining pool site and have people join and mine for us, then we can skim a certain % of profits.

My worry is this.

Let's say it's stable now at 150.
Tomorrow another ddos will hit them. Shit will go down again and panic sellers will panic sell.
It's good to see so far it didn't kill the coin but how many times does this have to happen before it will.
And believe me, another ddos is on its way.
