pretty good site for comparing your hashrate with the current prices and what to expect, i think i might start doing litecoin tomorrow as ill be getting a better return and mtgox will be using litecoin soon, also there is over 18,000 people awaiting verification to start buying bitcoins there, thats fucking insane, the demand is still high, lets see where this will lead! |

in europe that rig would cost a lot more ...
|
i been told about the same
so 2700M/hash in btc is $1273.93 / month and 2700K/hash in litecoin is $1720.63 / month |

I am curious why you got this only now and not weeks earlier. At least weeks earlier. I mean you do not risk that much, if play money crashes you still could sell that machine second hand, its not like you would be in the minus.
I would have built at least 3 of those in that room, especially if electricity is only 1.3$/day. I mean you invest 1500$ and you get 60$/day, thats a no brainer. |
I think you will find a case is too much i have mine open air much better cooling

Is 50GH/s on an ASIC rig a good price for $549?

The 50GH/s is $849. |
who's making 50GH/s asics for $549?
last i've heard asics producers charged over $1k for 50GH and then bumped prices above 2k, while there are HUGE waiting lines of existing pre-orders. now, no one who owes an asic right now would part with their milking cow unless some ridiculously high premium is offered i would think. |

Can someone please explain what an ASIC rig actually is? In simple(ish) terms please :).

The url is http://www.asicrigs.com they seem to be out of the UK but they also look like its just pre-orders right now. |
pushing back to 2000MH/S, still gotta try and figure out this heating issue with the middle card, its a piggy int he middle and the other two are heating them out, got a nice setup going on now though, logmein set up on all my devices so if anything happens i can change it at a moments notice, also thinking of setting up a webcam of the rig so if i see the fan stop working i can shut it down, havent figured out yet how to shut the system down if temp reaches over a certain number, will be doing that soon, also setting up a router down there so i dont have to route the net through my spare laptop thats sitting on top.
