                                              They shouldn't ban knives. They should only ban assault knives and make the maximum blade length 3". What do you need to cut that's longer than 3"?

                                                      What do you need to cut that's longer than three inches? Um, food? My step father used to carve up deer we shot and killed. My neighbors use a huge fucking machete on what looks like calf leg or something - right there in the driveway. It's fucking odd. (Or maybe they are sending me a message?)

                                                      This is the point. We need knives. I used a knife this afternoon to make my lunch, and I'll be slicing and dicing my chicken for dinner tonight. Yet the majority of people go their entire lives without ever having fired a gun....

                                                                                          There are a couple thousand dead people that would disagree if they were still alive. The 9/11 hijackers had "x-acto" knives. And any sharp blade across the throat will kill you.
