Hey everyone, I have had a recent problem and I'm seeking some sort of help or idea of what to do.
First off, it was weird, I don't know if it is related or not. Last night I was watching analytics in real time, and as I was watching it I noticed that my HD site suddenly was getting no more visitors. I did some searches and found that my site has almost totally vanished from google. It's still indexed if you search for the domain, but all searches that I previously came up on I now don't. Even with personalized search on... it shouldn't vanish like that, I don't get it. I am hoping it's a hiccup and it comes back, very weird. I was getting great traffic constantly rising, suddenly, 0...
I did some looking around for ways to search and see if I was still listed, and while doing this I actually came across a site from some jerkoff who had taken all the text word for word and copied and pasted it into a garbage site with lots of other trash, in an attempt to de-rank my site..
I thought this is fucked up.. and just for kicks I thought lets see what happens if I do the same with my other site, my free cams one. I checked it out, and sure enough, there was a "copy" of my site. It had the same text word for word, and also same title, description etc, made to look like my site. I clicked on it to see, and it brought me to a site that had the same color background as mine, and suddenly halted. My anti-virus blocked a virus which was automatically autoloaded on page load..
How can I find out who this worthless piece of shit is? What do you guys think I should do?
I changed my index pages so they are a bit different now, but I really don't know what else to do?
