please tell me im not the only one.... been messing with dumb deadicated servers for ever, didn't know about virtual machines in clouds.... make 10 servers with 12 cores and 50 gb ram with in a few clicks..... smdh

I have a virtual private server but I haven't found it to be mind-blowingly fast by any means.

ya bandwidth is nuts.... but omg, nice being able to access 3 data centers and just smash severs out for every thing needed, good if u got a big network hotlinking... fire walls mysql... i just think its the coolest thing ever, just got my first cloud, and im not complaining...

And with a cloud u can create instance's for MySQL servers, etc... and adding resources to each instance is one click, rather it be a core processor, ram or hd space... great for managing big networks that need dedicated servers for mysql firewalls, etc.. and you can split the virtual machines/instances on to different data centers, i have access to 3 data centers, so i can have 10 servers in canada, 10 in la and 10 in florida... and access them all threw my cloud very easy and add and remove resources with one click... its amazing... |

Whoa just learned about "Hybrid" systems with cloud, this is perfect for the problem with bandwidth, you can attach a Dedicated Box on a 100 MBPS line to your cloud...... Now im super happy i switched to cloud, ima adding a 100 mbps box to it to host the content and then the scripts on instanced made inside my cloud.....
I couldn't be any happier, if ya'll havn't looked into it, your missing out.... Deploy 10 servers in a matter of hours..... sooo dope.... soon every site on our network will be in its on dedicated instance in my cloud split up into 3 datacenters in my cloud.... sooooo sick |
