    laptop experts - recommend me 13 inch with matte screen

    Bit tired of surfing through, so maybe somebody could help, my requirements are:
    13 inch
    matte screen
    white color
    above average battery

    Pretty simple requirements, but not much to choose from.
    Any brand (except one, you know which one), any price.

    I found only some samsung so far, it would be ideal, except the battery..

                      You will have a very hard time finding any laptop, netbook or tablet with matte screens since most of them are now coming with Windows 8 pre-installed (with the exception of Droid tablets) and 99% of these devices are going to be touch-screen enabled.

                      Because of this, cleaning is an issue many manufacturers are taking into consideration so they are going to the glossy screen as they are typically easier to clean.

                      If you are wanting a matte screen to reduce glare, then go with the new Surface Pro, it still has some glare, but not as much as many comparable tablets, netbooks and laptops.

                          Even before touch screens most of the laptops had glossy screens. I have no idea why, I mean I know that glossy screen cost less than matte, but not that much since when I bought my previous laptop it cost me the same as similar spec with glossy screen.
                          I never understood why people bought glossy screen laptops, which were useless outside and hard on the eyes in well lit room.

                          Anyway - I am not looking into those that WILL come out, most of the current laptops, ultrabooks are NOT touchscreen enabled and number of them has matter screens, I juts can't find white ones.

                          By the way its shocking that some manufacturers even do not mention if screen is glossy or matte while this is one of the most important characteristics of any laptop.
                          Not only there are no shops where people could choose matter or glossy from dropdown, but also sometimes you have to search web or reviews to investigate if its glossy or matte (I mean its not even mentioned in specs sometimes).

                                  And most important - I do not understand how some brands even do not mention if its glossy or matte in their specs, its truly WTF I mean they mention like 30 characteristics and according to them mentioning matte or glossy is not even in top 30 worth mentioning?                                           I thought I'd never say this, but check out the Macbook Pro. It is an amazing piece of hardware and the OS is actually pretty awesome too. I really really HATES macs before I got this... I got it for xCode / iOS development.

                                              This would be exactly what I am looking for, unfortunately I just can't stand this brand.

                                              There are plenty of good 13 inch laptops with matte screen, like asus zenbook for instance, but I would like to find white one and only if I could not find it then I would take zenbook or something like that.

                                                  I got the zenbook and I also have an HP Elitebook. Both are okay, but unfortunately none compare to this Macbook Pro. I totally hear you though, I had this... unexplainable hate towards apple. I suppose I still do

                                                      Yep, I do not dispute quality of macbook air, it should be good knowing that apple overcharges for their laptops the most out of all manufacturers (in their book, which is more than a few years old though, it was said that they overcharge 500$ on each laptop while dell overcharged only 50$).

                                                      PS: I must retract my statement that macbook air would be according to my specs as I learned they do not come in matte screen. So thats good, now I don't feel bad knowing that my hated brand has computer exactly to my needs

                                                          HP Folio 13 ... the business version is matted but you can get a matted screen protector for the HP Folio on amazon for a few dollars. Also check the reviews for the HP Folio 13 on amazon all pretty good. my system came with 4gb ram but if you don't mind opening up the back you can pop in a 8gb ram chip like i did.
