    The tragedy in the Philippines gets worse and more gruesome each day - here's another reminder to donate to the heroic efforts of the Red Cross and nice big FUCK YOU to scum like VDbucks who would use the people of that nation then tell others NOT to bother to donate to help those who are suffering so badly.

              Have you ever considered that those hundreds upon hundreds of dead people might not have died had the PI government not delayed the efforts of the red cross because of their corruption? No, you haven't.

              Oh and have you ever heard or seen me say a single bad thing about the red cross? No, you haven't.

              But don't let the facts get in the way of your senseless tirade.

              I'll part with this though... I still find it funny as hell that you claim to spend so much time in SE Asia, yet you've never once visited your "good friend" in the PI; nor do you seem to actually know anything about anything about SE Asia. You claim to care so much about what happened down there, yet all you've done is start a flame war on GFY because I spoke the truth about the corruption that plagues that country. Corruption, mind you, that has taken a far worse toll on that country than any natural disaster ever could.

                          Man, you are dragging us through the mud over something you believe Charles had put into context, but didn't.

                          He's already explained the position of corruption in PI and the position from his own perspective about donating. He is merely warning that most of that donated money will not help those poor people but merely make people richer and frustrate those who need it.

                          Find ways to help instead of putting all your energy into dragging the company through the mud.

                          Or use that energy to raise funds to donate however you deem fit.

                          We feel terrible about what has happened in the PI but do not in any way suggest nobody help them.. just be warned.. they won't see very much of your help.

                              I think it's in appropriate to rant someone in a difficult times like this. People care by people not by the government. If you do not care about the government then be it. But when people tries to help somebody why do you need to stop them? If that people makes them happy on what they do then let them help. I even donate some even I am based here in Philippines and I know everything than both of you guys. So, if you tries not to help someone in difficult time then stop ranting someone who tries to help. I am worried about children who save their lives while their parents died in the disaster. I hope that both of you guys will not happen this to your area nor your life. It could be disaster.

                                              In the U.S. it's not commonly known that charities only have to spend 10% of donations on their cause. Why do you think some many rich folk set up charities? It's not because they actually want to be charitable.. It's a tax scheme for them. And others use them as ways of getting rich from nothing but begging and playing on the sympathies of others.. I know someone in the higher echelons of Red Cross. I can tell you she's raking it in and I have yet to see her take off to one of these disaster areas. That's what the "volunteers" are for.

                                                                                                      Apparently everyone was glued to TVs watching corruption hearings involving billions of dollars that vanished. Money that was supposed to go towards alleviating poverty across the country.

                                                                                                      It was reminiscent of Dick Cheney's speech the day before 9/11 - and how the government had lost track of trillions of dollars of defense spending.
