"The announcement is likely to further enrage Pyongyang, which has already issued a flood of ominous statements to highlight displeasure over the drills and U.N. sanctions over its nuclear test last month. But there were signs Thursday that it is willing to go only so far."

China is walking away from North Korea.

China supporting NK in a conventional war is one thing, but a nuclear war in China's back yard is unacceptable to China for the most obvious reasons. North Korea seems to think the status quo has changed because they have a nuke, when the truth is it's hurt NK... Because of fears of nuclear war in their back yard, China will no longer support NK.
