Jey from iDSAdult Designs - where are you?

We contracted your studio for a custom feature we needed for our new site's member's area back in early February. We were told it should take between 2 and 4 weeks. It's now March 25th and it's not done.

When we asked the programmer working on it last week when it might be complete, we were told he's "going on vacation" so maybe around April 12th now.

I've emailed you several times and have not gotten any reply. We're obviously pretty unhappy about this and need to find out what is going on over there.

Since you don't have the time to reply to your 100% up-front paid customers wondering why their project isn't near completed and why the programmer's going on vacation for 3 weeks, we have no choice but to open up a GFY support ticket.




*ps - if there's anyone out there who knows a truly professional, RELIABLE and quality designer or design company capable of a wide variety of projects, please post their info/sites here.

Or did the developer he had working on your project decide to take a 3-week siesta in the middle of it delaying it about a month longer than it should have been?

You can say whatever you want about something done in the past, but I'm talking about something right now, in the present.

If you're a professional, you're only as good as the last thing you did. Not what you did a year ago for someone else.

Does the fact that you got your project done by him correctly (and on time?) in the past somehow change that fact that the ball has been dropped on our project now?

I'm trying to understand that logic.

There's another thread on here about them delivering late work before...just do a GFY search. Supposedly they're supposed to be pretty good though so I hope it all works out for you.

Yeah, I've seen those posts. Saw 'em before we hired 'em. You can find negative posts about anything and anyone---in and out of adult. Saw enough positive to give them a try. The project was shaping up nicely and how we wanted it until this point.

This is more so about the excessive time delay (for vacation?) and the lack of response.

Jey and IDS has done many jobs for me and I have been impressed by speed and their willingness to work on things. Have always considered him a great guy. Sorry to hear about the ball being dropped on this one, I can certainly understand the anger and feeling of being ignored.

Precisely. I don't need daily communication or a hug, and I can understand big religious holiday times, but it's been 2+ WEEKS since we have heard anything from Jey himself. I'm sorry, but for me that is not professional and certainly not good business.

You need to communicate with your clients and keep them informed about what's going on with their projects; especially ones already fully paid for and way past their due date.

It's now also been a week since we were told by the programmer assigned to our project about the big delay due to his holiday. Of course we're right in the thick of the holiday now, seeing as it's Good Friday, so we're not expecting to hear anything sooner than Monday really.
