Mike writes an opinion based blog. He is not a journalist. He also did not write the story he just posted here, that came from Die Welt, a national daily newspaper in Germany that has been in existence longer than you have been alive.

Thats funny, since its been around longer then you have been alive as well. I am not exactly sure how that makes sense. I guess you werent folowwing the conversation. Thanks for the info. LLC's are much easier to deal with from a tax-preparation standpoint.

It used to be you had to be a corporation in order to separate yourself from your business for liability purposes.

I believe those same protections also exist now, via an LLC (limited liability company), so it is probably the best small business classification.

I am currently a C corp, but I may switch over to an LLC myself, as my accountant suggests (no need for an annual corporate return, etc).
