Not that I would suggest anyone is being dishonest. But, I would imagine that a lot of the negativity and guarantees of deletion in this thread and the CrakRevenue thread are by people with Tumblr blogs who don't want any new competition. Which is why I continue to push forward.

I can confirm many are making great money.

We have a few guys doing around 1000$ daily without any spam (we dont allow it).

They created interesting blogs, kept working on them daily and got their audience involved.

We have guys with HUGE facebook groups doing up to a stable 3000$ a day...they push our non nude tours and tools and it work very well.

Keep up the good work and dont take the easy route.

The blackhat guys have bots that report accouts and get adult tumble accounts shut down (facebook & yahoo too). You can buy the bots if you want to be an asshole.

ive noticed this, any account that i ever had 1000+ followers was always shut down. these fuckers are reporting their competition. also a simple email to abuse at tumblr saying such and such site is spamming will get the blog closed asap

yes, selling paysites is hard but its easier to sell free stuff like AVS or free meberships.

I was doing like 70-100 followers a week on Tumblr before the Crak Tutorial and now I'm doing like 150+ a week. So pretty substantial I think. But I only really started last week. :thumbsup

I've had sign ups as well on Tumblr before this but they are sporadic it seems.

Can someone please explain if adult content is being indexed nowadays? I read somewhere yesterday that tumblr don't index fresh adult blogs and that you need to spend some time tending and improving it before they upgrade your status. How does that work?

yes tumblr ghosts your account initially... you need to fill in all the info, follow some blogs, like shit, reblog and make some posts

then eventually your blog will go live in their system

Yesterday someone claimed that even after 2 months of fine-tuning his blog, it still stayed ghosted.

Well you were right mate, lost a big tumblr blog today, thousands of fucking followers, updated by hand, thousands of posts - ufcking shits me to tears.

Feel like setting up 10,000 blogs and firing 16billion posts into them every day just to make these fuckers have to waste more of their time deleting accounts. I'm not going to add anything by hand again, going to write a script now to auto post. Got something like 1500 posts I backed up from one blog.

Working with Tumblr is like making hundreds of blogs on Thumblogger right before the crash constantly..

You can't look at Tumblr as a long term investment of your time unless you seriously have nothing better to do. If you are running Tumblr to push sales, joins, whatever then put your effort into ten or so and then just build to replace when deleted. Personally I don't see porn on Tumblr as a long term option as its bound to be cleaned up at some point.

We have used Tumblr from day one and we have found that hardcore builds faster but clever softcore tease converts LOADS better. Loads of people have poured onto Tumblr but like most things in adult very few have a fucking clue what they are doing.

The problem with adult only type setups is the mainstream crowd does not get a sniff of it. That is the beauty of tumblr, porn is mixed in with the mainstream without getting slapped on the ass...

CrakRevenue was pretty bad for me, honestly. I had a tumblr account with over 15,000 followers and was luuuuucky to get 1 sign up a day. Lots of hits, almost no sign ups. I wound up closing my account with them. Hope it's better for everyone else though!

LOL, I just checked. It says "Custom Theme", but I'm pretty sure it was whatever was the default at the time. Tumblr has a weird way of changing things without warning (I guess that was the gist of this thread).

If you guys want to follow, I will follow back / recip-reblog, I have an unsubstantiated theory that the bigger you are in tumblr the stronger Google will count your backlinks.

EI: Big account = strong backlinks
Small account = little no backlink effect

We talked when I closed my account, unless that was a different 'Bab'... but it's really okay. That's old info. Now, if your Tumblr gets flagged as adult, they put a robots.txt on there that keeps it from EVER being indexed by outside search engines. And it doesn't appear in the internal Tumblr tag searches, either. Not ever.

The change happened a couple of weeks before the Yahoo sale.
