Who Can Build me a Web Page?

I posted in the Sell and Buy section but haven't had any response.

Hoping someone here might want a little job.

Basically, I use Wordpress but I would like a custom page building that I can insert in.
The page will consist of mainly tables with a couple of custom images.

I could probably do it myself in expression web or frontpage but I know the code would suck and there would be tables where there shouldn't be tables.

Anyway, it's a pretty simple job for those that know how to do html.

I am looking for it doing pretty cheap ($20?) pay by Paypal.

Either plan to pay a lot more or plan to do it yourself.

Anyone willing to build you a site for $20.00 isn't someone you want to trust with FTP access or anything else for that matter.

I believe he just wants a very simple page so I'm sure he could get someone to do it for $20 especially when it would only be a few minutes of work.

windows live writer, its free, build your page with tables on your desktop in livewriter and then click to post to your wordpress blog, piece of cake

Yeah, it's just 1 page. Not a whole site although I did make my first site using little more than notepad and a copy of HTML for dummies back in 1993.
I don't even need a header and footer, just the bits between.

I had one guy said he could do it but he wanted access to the blog. I told him that wouldn't be necessary and I haven't heard anything since.

It's not just a simple table though, it's a table within the main part off the page plus custom sidebars.
Throw it all together, make it look pretty with some css. job done.

You want something done in wp but you wont give them access.. What theme are you using? Is it a standard one with no adjustments?

Maybe it's just me.. Why does someone need access to WP?
Surely a webpage is built the same way whether it's a wordpress theme or a basic html site.

I want a simple page creating in HTML / CSS that I can use within my site. I don't need a header or a footer, just the bit after the <body>. Is it because the designer need to see what spreadsheets you have or what?

If I need to give access, what is the best way to allow this without providing admin access?

Is it a standard theme? tell the person what you want with what theme. they will supply a child theme so that it doesnt overwrite on future updates.

Or stick it on a clean install, then let someone do their stuff, then you copy it over.

Ok, so if for example I have a paid custom theme and the designer created the design for twentytwelve theme it wouldn't work?

Anyway, I can setup a new blog with the current theme. I am still looking
