If it's 1:50 frontpage with TGP traffic, I would promote it, because with average 6 rebills, it's $30 per 50 hits. But I don't think, that it's possible these days. I'm converting even better than 1:50 with some sponsors, but it's with targeted SE traffic.

I know exactly the type of sites you are talking about..... Average rebill is 4 to 5 months.... I am developing one of these sites that will convert better but with fetish material, should be ready in a couple weeks

It's all about how much you can make. The actual payout per signup isn't a very useful figure, it just tempts people.

One of my best sponsors pays 60% of $6.50 a month, but I'm still getting rebills for traffic I sent him more than 12 months ago. If your site is genuinely good, I'm sure you will persuade people to promote it.
