I'm working on it. If you like Toronto you must not have lived down town for a very long period of time. After sitting in traffic behind a street car every 5 minutes so it can load people on to it will make you crazy. Also crazy ass taxes, try paying 12K to Toronto just to own a little box in the sky, plus another 4K a year on top of that.

Toronto does suck 100%, most people I know that come in to Toronto can't wait to get out. Real young people like it because there are lots of bars but anyone else generally hates it. Hey I have any idea, lets have a city with 3 million people and only have two subway lines! LMAO

I went to wash my car on Saturday, I drove a total of KMs, Round trip with washing my car was 2.5 hours. I spend .5 hours washing my car. If you can still like a city after that then come take my place!

BTW, it's a 10 minute SLOW walk from your office to Marina's. You can't just put one foot in front of the other...? (Right I forgot - this is the "car obsessed Toronto" speaking). LOL

In all your posts so far there is a consistent factor, your lack of walking. 6 blocks would take you 10 mins to walk, drop the car and stop being lazy. I lived in Toronto for 6 months and loved every minute of it, never had a car, walked everywhere even tho I lived there October - April, thru winter. Threw on a jacket, gloves and scarf and got on my way. I lived 2 blocks from the Eaton Centre in a nice condo building, I hardly had to leave it week nights.

I rented a car a couple of times as well and never found the traffic to be overly annoying, maybe I got lucky I guess but still, I've been in LA traffic, New York City traffic and Toronto isn't even close to being as bad as that.

Then don't live downtown? Any major city is the same way. I lived at queen and carlaw for about 3 yrs a long time ago. Then I decided to move out of downtown. Bought a house and love where I live. I can wash my car in my driveway so don't need to drive anywhere. You just hate living downtown, there is more to the GTA than downtown. I'd never own a car if I lived down there.

Also you say everyone hates it? Pretty sure the real estate market would disagree. Toronto continues to grow and grow so obviously people want to be here.
