I know some people that toured with him. In addition to the purple crap, they claimed that he and all his crew were all serious heroin addicts. They were telling me stories of them leaving a trail of discarded needles everywhere they want... in restaurant bathrooms, hotel rooms, limos, rental cars etc. etc etc.

I'm not the biggest fan of his songs. In fact, I don't like his delivery style at all. However, having read about his writing process, it changed my opinion of his as a talent. Most people couldn't do it that way.
