				 | Hotels in Philadelphia? Taking a day trip up and wife wants me to find a decent hotel with an indoor pool and breakfast. I'm sure there are a few of you around there. Also, is Jim's on South Street still good? It's been 7+ years since I've been up there.

				 | What part of Philly? I'd check out hotels near Rittenhouse , it's a nicer area and a bit more upscale. Otherwise get a $80/nt Marriott Residence Inn by the airport and get a free full breakfast!

				 | No clue. Wife wants to take a day trip up there during her spring break since she has never been. She mentioned something about going to Eastern State, some museum for our daughter, and getting a cheesesteak. Heading up Thursday into Friday.

				 | Eastern state is badass. I'm sure you know, Al Capone, yada yada. I personally think any corner pizza shop has better steaks than Gino's or Pats. Not really sure on the hotels - I live just across the bridge. |

				 | Found some hotels over in King of Prussia. We're going to stay outside of the city. Only one thing there and that's a sub and Eastern State.

				 | There's a Marriot Residence Inn on 13th and Market right in the middle of center city with a pool. Nice rooms, too. I should know, I spent a year and a half wiring the fucking things. And it's like 2 blocks from the Reading Terminal, which you might want to check out. You don't want to stay all the way out by the airport. Matter of fact, fuck eating breakfast in a hotel, go to the Reading Terminal to the Amish Market, it's called "Dutch Eating Place". They got fresh chocolate milk, scrapple, big ass blueberry pancakes. Or if you're gonna check out South street you can hit up Sabrina's on 9th and Christian for breakfast. Me, personally, I think John's Roast Pork down on Snyder Ave. makes the best cheesesteaks by far. I guess the museum you're talking about is the Franklin Institute. There's a lot of shit for kids in there, I used to like going through the heart. There's a bunch of dinosaur skeletons and shit like that that kids like. They got an IMax theater and a planetarium, too. |

				 | I don't want to break it to you, but I don't think that many people go to philadelphia anymore to visit. The tourist attractions aren't worth the hassle or the filth. |

				 | Stay at a hotel near Rittenhouse. Be sure to check out the Barnes while you are there. It's the most impressive collection of artwork in the United States without question.

				 | I live in Center city near Rittenhouse square. Stay at the Rittenhouse hotel, the Westin on 17th, Hyatt at the Bellvue or the Warwick also on 17th. Jim's is great. It's chopped of steak..best Steak sandwich and also roasted pork sandwich is at Tony Lukes. Ask any cab and they will take you. do not get cheese wiz.. get you steak sandwiches with provalone...Also...ask your cab to stop there on the way from the airport to your center city hotel... It's right off 95 near the stadiums.. Best Sandwich in Philly is italian Hoagies from Sarcone's deli. It's in south philly a 5 minute cab ride from center city. It's on 9th street which is also close to the outdoor Italian market. Eat at Dante's and Luigi's in South Philly for a real hardcore Italian feast... (Old-Fashioned Italian Gourmet Hoagie. Thinly-sliced prosciutto, hot sopressata, hot coppa, sharp provolone cheese, herbs, oil, vinegar, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. ) Also, go to Reading Terminal on 12th street across from covention center. DO NOT STAY IN KING OF PRUSSIA.. it's in middle of no where... |

				 | It may be. I haven't been in the "city" for enjoyment since having my jewelry ripped off my neck many years ago. I'm from the northeast, and going back there just drives me insane with all the garbage. |

				 | listen to howard on all suggestions. get the pork sandwich at DiNic's in reading terminal, but be prepared to wait for like an hour in line. paesano's has a couple locations and has some really funky and delicious sandwiches. make sure to get to south philly, get out of your car and walk around the outdoor market, its a really cool place. theres also a good bar every 10 feet in old city. |

				 | Eastern State Pen is awesome. Take along a camera tripod...many of the cells and hallways aren't lit too well (might be an extra charge for the tripod). |

The hotel we stayed at in King of Prussia was great. Right behind the mall, full gym and pool access, room service breakfast, ample parking, away from the crowds/city life, etc. Spent most of the day today at the Please Touch Museum. Expensive but our daughter absolutely loved it. We finally left there and hit South Street. Jim's was almost empty and one look at their subs and we walked right out. I haven't been there in probably 7 years but their subs looked like they wouldn't please the belly of a 5 year old. We picked some random place down the street called Steaks on South. Not bad. Not incredible though. All in all, I think the wife and I will take another trip back up once it gets a bit warmer out and we have some more time to spend up there. ....annnnddd one photo from ESP that I grabbed off the camera last night
