Unfortunately, there is an other problem.
Tumblr deletes blogs containing affiliate links. They deleted my account because 1 of my 3 blogs contained affiliate links. If you add some affiliate link saying "click here for more" you will have problems. It happened to me. Click-through-the-pictures links is certainly a better idea because it would be more discrete. But what's the percentage of viewers who actually click on the pictures ? Pictures in the dashboard are already quite big (500px wide). Following people hoping they will follow you back is also a good idea. But maybe 10% of the people you follow will follow you back. So you have to unfollow people who are not following you back when you reach the 5000 blogs follow limit. In order to screw that follow limit, a good idea would be to create multiple accounts (don't know if Tumblr would like that). 1 niche per account. More than 5000 people following you back per single account, ... |

So is Part 3 going to be out today? I've been following this, but haven't started yet. I did sign up with CrakRevenue, though. I'm being very trepid because of comments like the one above by ibou who says "They deleted my account because of 1 of my 3 blogs contained affiliate links." I'm waiting to get the whole tutorial before beginning.

Trust me. There are several tumblr secrets not being shared, in this thread. People who don't know will weed them selves out, quickly. :2 cents: |

In part 3 we're looking at further extending our blog's reach using Reddit! It's the next logical step for a successful Tumblr strategy, following what was explained in the two previous parts. We are very pleased by the numerous positive comments received about the first two parts! I think people are really enjoying this kind of material. About Tumblr deleting blogs, it's sadly part of the game. We don't pretend having a flawless method of doing it. We told you about how WE were successfully promoting and making money with Tumblr blogs, and we never had a single page banned doing it that way... :winkwink: From there, it's really up to you to fine tune your method and find what works for you best. :thumbsup Quote:
As I said before, the intention behind these posts is to show the way and give the basics so people get started in the right direction. From there, well... it's up to them to push it to the next level. And that, may requires a little more research, practice and efforts than what's teached here. But hey, the important thing to remember is that first and foremost, we're here to help our affiliates succeed and make more money along the way. :pimp Hope you'll like the new post! Cheers. |

Looks pretty good.
I'm brand new in Adult, did Mainstream for the last 10 years, and when I had to use a free blog service, I only used Blogspot with great success. Never used tumblr tho, but I have been visiting many blogs there as a surfer. However I have also seen many blogs taken down there, probably because of too much Affiliate marketing or links I guess. The ones that I see survive, are usually hobby blogs, that are not monetized. Never seen that problem with blogspost, I had never a blog taken down there, but again, I only did mainstream in blogger. This is quite a good tutorial, for the kind of people that can figure out how to keep their blogs up. Im sure that if you have a guarantee that your blogs are not going to get deleted, you have a gold mine, for the simple fact that tumblr is the number #2 authority site in terms of SEO Free host, after blogger. But blogger is not adult friendly, so it makes tumblr the first adult seo free blog host. Just my two cents. |

Tumblr traffic is worse then twitter traffic and twitter traffic is pretty shitty.
Plus they ban by mac addy so even if you using proxys they can still wipe out your network. |

The machine's MAC address does not leave your local network and therefore is not available to web or other servers. There is no possible way for a site to track that information, unless they ilegally have access to your computer. In addition to this, the MAC address can be easily changed as many times you want and using as many combinations you want. Try to learn a bit, before you write non-sense next time. |

Read tumblrs terms. Yes you can spoof mac addy. |
...and in the end tumblr will delete your account, like all other adult accounts there...
|
Yep, tumblr will delete your account. I had only two links in the header, MFC PPL and SlutRoulette PPL. No banner, no pop-ads, no spam, nothing. But tumblr terminated my account.
Luckily I have +75000 followers and I talked a lot with tumblr support previously for several reasons. http://i.imgur.com/XLwoqAR.png Small spammy blogs has no chance. |

Holy fuck people.. It's not rocket science.. Yes, Tumblr is going to delete your blog if you don't play by the rules. But there are a lot of ways to bend those rules and not get banned.
Example: http://tubesexfan.tumblr.com (just sharing one new Tumblr, because I know you haters will report it because you can) But I have many Tumblr blogs. Not one deleted since I started them. I don't post affiliate links and I never use ads. I just use it for traffic and SEO purpose. Just my :2 cents: |
