Possible reason:
This is the most searched single terms, not the sum of similar search term groups.
So let's say 5% of people is gay and search "gay" is 5% for that term. And 95% is straight and they search 100 different straight terms, each getting 1%, then "gay" is more searched than those single straigh terms who are together otherwise a 95% of searches.Comment
