    Is there 112 emergency phone number in the US???

    Turns out you can dial 911 in many countries in Europe and the operators answer in English, regardless of which country you dial from. At least this is what a friend of mine found out recently - he was chasing a drunk driver and calling 911 instead of 112, I guess this is what too many Hollywood movies do to you ;)

              I tried it the other day, 112 forwards to 911 . . . in the LA area anyway.

                  You can dial 999 in Spain, not sure about the rest of Europe - That's the UK number.

                  I think you can use all 3 here...
