Update BIOS???
is it possible to update BIOS from windows XP?? Is there any software that can do that??

You should go to the webpage of your motherboard manufacturer and locate their BIOS upgrade utilities. Some work from within highlevel operating systems (ie: windows), others require a floppy dick that is formatted and when the machine boots from it, upgrades the BIOS. No, that's wasn't a typo, it's the office slang for floppies.
